This is an incomplete list of my portfolio. I am currently in the process of publishing all the work I have done to this page. (last updated 1/30/2012)
Attached to this post are my logo designs for the Ogrr.com logo contest. Ogrr.com is a trade and community forum and they support bitcoin transactions. Thier site is super clean and easy to use so even if I dont win, I'm happy to help out fellow bitcoiners. I would really like that win though, 100 BTC is worth $550 right now! Last and most importantly, huge props to Adam at NinjaCaptain.com who greatly helped with the ideas for this logo.
(edit 2/2/2012) Entered another logo into the contest emphasizing community and trade. You can see it in the images attached to this post.
I made this tshirt design for a contest the Elvis Duran radio show held for breast cancer awareness. One of the requirements was to include "Hello Lady" in the design. I did not win, but still think this would be a great tshirt for the cause. What do you think? :p
Schrottoberfest is a family tradition of the Schrotts during the famous Oktoberfest in La Crosse, Wi. Friends and family of the Schrott's come from all over the country to join in on the celebration. Over the 2010 Schrottoberfest the idea came up to build a website for the event. It sounded fun, so I made it a personal project of mine.
The website includes a blog, gallery and forum. One of the main reasons I took on this project was my interest in the Node Gallery module and also to see how well phpbb integrates into a Drupal website. This website is an ongoing experiment of mine in testing these modules. It also serves as social playground for those active in the Schrottoberfest celebrations.
In addition to the website, a tshirt is created each year for participants to wear during the festivities. I created the tshirt designs for the past two years. Click here to see the 2010 design.
This was a simple design I made in a few hours for my friend Pat. He is not a designer nor an experienced web developer, so I helped him impress his boss :)
This project began back in January 2010 and was put on hold in February, pending launch. The site has been sitting idle on DRT development server ever since. Functionally and graphically this site is 99% complete, it just lacks content. As soon as Bellatoris is back and ready to finish the site I will put a link to the final website.
This is one of the few dark themed websites I have made and I feel it was executed well. I like the blue glow on the active menu items and the big globe in the background of the header. What do you think?
DRT Videos is a website where others can watch games that I have played. DRT Videos is also a website to link to other video game videos that others have made. It would be impossible to play and record all the video games I am interested in, so I will link to others who have created high quality videos of video games as well.
I came up with the design, created it and themed it. I also created a logo to brand our videos. Along with this I made a DRT Videos title intro for each video we release. This can be seen within the first 5 seconds any of the gaming video we post and it gives a nice transition from the title to the actual gameplay. More...
This was a crazy project. Not only were we new to Drupal at the time, we also decided to take on the task of integrating a flash template (that the client wanted) into a Drupal CMS. This project took many MANY hours but in the end we were successful in getting a website that had moving flash video in the background with HTML directly on top, and all editable through a Drupal CMS. From what I remember, it was a pain getting IE7 to look correct, and we didn't even bother with IE6.
Unfortunately, the site is down. Why? Well, after we launched the site the DRT's client disappeared for nearly a year. Once we finally got back in touch with him he decided he wasn't going to pay. DRT has still have not received payment from him :(
